We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users, which include schools, educators, and most importantly, students. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our mobile applications, website, and AI-powered assessment platforms.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information strictly necessary to provide and improve our physical and cognitive assessment services:

  • School & Educator Data: Names, email addresses, school affiliations, and contact information provided during account creation and demo requests.
  • Student Data: Basic identifiers (such as name, grade, age, and gender) required to benchmark physical performance accurately against universal standards.
  • Assessment & Performance Data: Metrics related to fitness tests, VO₂ max scores, agility, core strength, and house points.
  • Visual & AI Processing Data: Temporary video or image data captured via smartphone cameras during physical assessments. Note: These are processed to analyze posture, gait, and speed.

3. How We Use Your Information

PE Elevate uses the collected data exclusively for educational and platform-related purposes:

  • To generate accurate, AI-driven physical and cognitive assessment reports for students.
  • To automate school curriculums, PET schedules, and inter-house sports events.
  • To provide actionable insights to teachers and school administrators regarding student health and athletic development.
  • To improve our Computer Vision algorithms (data used for algorithm improvement is strictly anonymized and de-identified).

We DO NOT sell, rent, or trade student data to third parties, nor do we use student data for targeted advertising.

4. Student Privacy & Compliance

Protecting student privacy is our highest priority. PE Elevate acts as a "School Official" under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, as well as applicable regional data protection laws (such as the DPDP Act in India).

We only collect personal information from children under 13 when a school or district has authorized us to do so and provided the necessary consent on behalf of parents.

5. Data Security

We implement state-of-the-art security measures to protect your data. This includes:

  • End-to-end encryption for data in transit and at rest.
  • Secure, cloud-based infrastructure with strict access controls.
  • Routine security audits and vulnerability assessments.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain school and student data only for as long as the school maintains an active subscription with PE Elevate, or as required by law. Upon termination of a contract or upon request from an authorized school official, we will securely delete or de-identify all student personal data within a standard commercial timeframe.

7. Sharing of Information

We only share information under the following strict conditions:

  • With the School: Teachers and administrators have access to their respective students' reports and data.
  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party cloud hosting providers who are legally bound to strict data confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: If required to comply with a valid legal subpoena or court order.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will notify partner schools directly of any material changes via email or platform notifications before the changes take effect.
